Watanabe Sake Brewery is located in central Japan in a beautiful small town called Hida-Furukawa, located in Gifu Prefecture. Hourai's most popular Junmai Ginjo uses luxury grade rice. We are proud to present this unpretentious, yet elegant and gentle Junmai Ginjo. This award-winning Sake represents the highest standard of Japanese rice wine.

Junmai, meaning "pure", must adhere strictly to the four core ingredients limitation of the category, which prohibits the addition of ingredients beyond rice, water, koji, and yeast.

Junmai Ginjo is a pure and premium sake made with rice milled below 60% and no added distilled alcohol. Comes in 720mL and 300mL sizes.

Clear color. Tropical aromas of and flavors of ripe pineapple, papaya, baked coconut, anise seed, and goat's milk. Satiny, vibrant, fruity medium-to-full body and a compelling, sweet cream, spicy almond brittle, radish, and caramelized bacon finish.
