Introducing Don Chinto Lighthouse!
Produced at the Hacienda La Capilla distillery, this amber, strong, and "masculine" tasting añejo tequila is named after the legendary joker, troublemaker, and master moonshiner Don Chinto from the 16th century.
While digging the foundation for their new distillery, an excavator came across the remains of the foundations of a smaller, older distillery: one supposedly owned by Don Chinto himself.
Having come from no money, the legend says he traveled across the ocean to work for his uncle, eventually becoming the heir to a small piece of land overgrown with weeds. Here, he cobbled together a small distillery and began to distill mezcal from the blue agave that grew there, bringing the joys of the agave spirits to the nearby townspeople.
This rich and complex añejo tequila is made from blue agave plants and produced in Jalisco, Mexico, fermented and distilled in stainless steel tanks. With a rich and spicy taste, let the deep caramel tones and light sweetness dance on the tongue while you admire this beautiful ceramic bottle, complete with a working LED light to help guide you through your tequila journey.
